When I published the first map of virtual worlds in April I thought of continuing my research by giving it the name Metaverse Observatory, using this blog as a collector. I gradually realized that this type of activity, due to its specificity and complexity, deserved its own space and dedicated resources. I asked some friends and readers of my newsletter for help and thus the Metaverso Observatory website was born (particular thanks go to Francesco Pelliccia who oversaw the implementation on WordPress). Observer of the Metaverse – Vincos/Midjourney The Metaverso Observatory is the first created to study the evolution of the internet towards three-dimensional immersive worlds, collect the best branded experience practices and help companies orient themselves in the future before it overwhelms them.
It has three main objectives: Research : explore technological evolution, application India Mobile Number Data contexts, opinions and behaviors of people and companies. Dissemination : inform to contribute to understanding opportunities, risks and development trajectories Consulting : offering training and strategic support to companies that want to take on the challenges of the metaverse. A curiosity: the site is also the first to use images generated with the support of artificial intelligence both because I wanted to show a concrete use of AI and because AI will be fundamental in the construction of immersive worlds. In particular, I enjoyed using Midjourney to develop metaverse visions inspired by the works of De Chirico, but not only. The site is essentially made up of two areas, that of projects and that of news.
The research projects already completed or in progress are: the metaverse map to locate existing 3D digital spaces metaverse statistics to track users the vocabulary of the metaverse to clarify the terms you need to know a census of Italian companies that offer services related to the metaverse (if you know any, please report them) The research projects can also be carried out in collaboration with companies, universities, researchers (the next ones will involve IPSOS and Dalk) so we are open to hearing your ideas. The Observatory's news section will collect the most interesting news surrounding the topic, trying to explain technological trends, the practical applications of immersive technologies, the implications on the different aspects of our existence.
